Terrible service. Got 11% rebate or say deduction. When I needed to get refund and return I was robbed by Menards gave less back and wanted more money to buy the items I needed. They have done this so often, I decided to go to LOWES! Lowes took very good care of us! LOWES you now have a new customer in me and others that I will tell!
Just received the best help ever at Menards ordering siding for our house. The manager of the store actually assisted us and helped us get everything we needed. He even got a cart and picked up the items that we needed in the store before we went outside to get everything else. In the warehouse where you pick up your purchases we also had a very helpful employee that assisted my husband in loading the heavy materials. All in all a terrific experience!
I deal with Menards quite a lot. I find their associates generally helpful, friendly, and have noticed them being quite patient with difficult customers. A few of their inexpensive generic branded consumable items (tooling) have poor service life. Don't be foolish, you get what you pay for. I've never had problems with a reasonable return on anything. Of note, and this may be a national trend, I have noticed a rapid turn-over in the items and brands they carry as if they are selling closeout items.
