I intend on figuring out how to contact the owner of the dealership myself and explaining the circumstances. Until then, 1 Star is well deserved by this salesman.
This place told me that instead of fixing my Toyota, I should purchase a new one. My vehicle is just over 100K miles and is running fine. They wanted to charge me over $6000 to fix it. I got a second opinion and will be able to get everything repaired for about $800. These people are a bunch of crooks.

I called and asked about a trade in for my car. I came in the next week, and text drove a car I was interested in. Everything (customer service, the vehicles, time management) was amazing. Then I said I had to go about an hour away for an appointment and they offered to let me drive the car there. I left the lot with a bit above a quarter tank of gas. On the way back, I texted my salesman and asked if I would get reimbursed if I could put some gas in the vehicle. He texted me the amount to put in, and I saved my receipt. Turned out I couldn’t end up purchasing the car due to it being out of my budget after looking at all the financing options. I told my salesman this and I also stated that I would be able to come in and get my $15.50 for the gas. He said “you put over 100 miles on our car and used the gas. Not really fair for you to ask for a refund. ... You used the car and our time.”
I recently purchased a new 2018 Camry here. I liked the salesperson I had (Jorge). He was very knowledable about the Camry's. This is the first time we purchased a car here but went here to buy our new car because of the great customer service we have had in the past with the service department for other Toyotas we own. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. The person who helped us with the financing did a good job of explaining all the financing and additional coverages we could purchase. I wanted to drive a couple cars to feel satisfied I was making the right choice and Jorge was very patient and helpful. Honestly all of the experiences I have had at this dealership have been positive. Love the free warm cookies, coffee, soda you can help yourself to while you wait.
I drove 4 hours to look at a 2002 Ford Escape XLT 4WD, Stock #: T3447E, 1FMYU041X2KA09172 listed for $4916. The vehicle was in good shape with the exception of some minor rust spots starting in the typical places for Escapes (which wasn't my main concern). My main concern was that the AC system was not blowing cold air and the condenser was kicking on which meant it was most likely a leak somewhere in the system, which could mean a simple recharge needed or a more major repair. I spoke to my local mechanic over the phone who advised that if the AC was an issue, they typically run around $600-700 to diagnose and repair depending on the issue The Escape was a previous fleet vehicle and retails (NADA) for $4125. After some negotiating I made it clear I would pay no more than full retail ($4125) for the Escape, to which I was told that no one uses NADA anymore and that the lowest they would go was $4454 plus fees (by the way is $239 for paperwork processing plus another $18-$19 fee) which seemed a bit excessive. I decided not to buy the vehicle based on their pricing and left. At no point did anyone else speak to me other than salesman (no manager, etc) and the only money that was moved was from their original asking price of $4916 to $4454 ($462 off which was still $329 above retail, FOR a 15 year old Escape with an AC issue! I left to look at another vehicle and noticed later the same day that I had visited, Mark Toyota had marked up the same Escape I had just looked at from $4916 up to $5767, which is now listed for $1642 above retail at that price. The salesman was fine to work with, and it seems like the entire issue I had revolved around pricing, and it seemed like a very typical car dealership you would dread going to when it comes down to the numbers. If you go to look at this vehicle, do your research before you go (ensure the AC is working before you buy and don't get caught overpaying for it). I would have been glad to buy the vehicle at retail, but it seemed very clear that my business was not worth it to Mark Toyota. Would not recommend this dealership.
